Last year I had to pack up my studio and put it into storage. In cleaning up I had gathered a couple boxes of odds and ends from some projects as well as some failed ideas. I hated to throw it all away and thought I should find someone to give them to so that it could have a new life and hopefully inspre. Then I remembered one of the interviews here at So Cal Potters was with Mosaic Artist Perry Hoffman and sent him an messsage.
Today I saw this photo with my tiles and masks scattered about this amazing wall. How cool to have this in your yard! This is part of Perry's latest project and I cant get over the feeling I got when I saw it, and my creations being a part of someone elses creation. If you ever wanted to learn the art of mosaic, Perry does workshops at his home in Santa Barbara or in Wonder Valley. Go to his mosaic page for more info
